Corey Brown
Corey Brown is the Head Instructor and Founder of Black Tie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in BJJ and has over 20 years of experience in the art. Corey has competed against some of the best Jiu Jitsu practitioners in the world, proving his skills to be highly effective. In addition to his extensive background in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Corey also has experience in MMA and wrestling, which he began practicing at the age of 11.
Corey's passion for spreading the knowledge of Jiu Jitsu has led him to establish affiliate schools in Colorado and Michigan, building a strong community of practitioners. Born and raised in Virginia, Corey always dreamed of moving to Florida, where he had visited family throughout his life. In 2016, he made that dream a reality, relocating to Cape Coral with his wife and daughters and starting his school with puzzle mats inside a fitness facility. In 2019, Corey obtained two locations to continue growing his school and spreading the positive aspects of Jiu Jitsu.
