“Throughout my three decades of overseeing academies, I have regularly gathered my staff and instructors for intensive training sessions lasting two to three days. These training events were designed to provide a focused and intense push toward improvement. Like heat tempers metal, as warriors, we understand that pushing ourselves in training refines our skills and strengthens our resolve. We would concentrate each day on one area of development: Defense, Escape, Control/neutralize, and then attack or submit.
Our primary goals During these sessions were to enhance our mat skills and develop willpower, discipline, and self-control. These qualities are fundamental to our individual and unified team growth. These events acquired the nickname “Fight Lab” with our team. This training camp continues that time-honored tradition of pursuing growth and development.”
