Helena Crevar
Helena Crevar, widely recognized as "JiuJitsu Girl," is a rising star in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) community. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she began her BJJ journey at the age of eight and quickly established herself as a formidable competitor. By the time she turned 15, Helena had already secured multiple titles, including being a six-time Pan Kids champion and earning a spot in the quarterfinals at the 2022 ADCC West Coast Trials.Currently ranked among the top competitors in her weight class, Helena is known for her distinctive style, often highlighted by her colorful grappling gear and signature pigtails. In 2023, she moved to Austin, Texas, to train under renowned coach John Danaher at New Wave Jiu-Jitsu, continuing to elevate her skills against some of the best athletes in the sport.As of now, Helena is not only making headlines for her competitive achievements but also for her commitment to inspiring young girls to participate in martial arts. She aims to promote equality within the sport and hopes to expand her influence through a fashion line of grappling apparel that she is developing with her mother. At just 17 years old, Helena is poised to become one of the leading figures in women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
