Beach bar and nightlife
The main bar at Armenistis serves as a popular gathering spot for campers and Jiutopians alike. Here, you can enjoy a wide selection of drinks, including beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks. BJJ kit and clothes washing
To make your stay even more convenient, we have a Laundry service by a member Jiutopia team called Thanos. For €2 per each piece of clothing. You give him your laundry in the morning and he gives it back dried the next day.
Transport
At Jiutopia we prioritize your convenience by offering hassle-free transportation options. To ensure a seamless start to your camp experience, we provide bus transportation from key locations in Thessaloniki. Please note that only the Jiutopia organized bus is included with your ticket. On day one, you can catch our bus at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki at 12:00 Noon or at Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia at 13:00 PM. These buses will take you directly to the camp. For your departure on the last day, a return bus will depart from the camp at 11:00 AM, with a final stop at Thessaloniki Airport. For those who prefer to explore the city before their flight, the bus will also make a stop in the city centre. See the full schedule here.
We strive to accommodate all participants, so if there’s a high demand for transportation, we’ll do our best to arrange additional buses for those arriving at different times.
If you can’t and other participants cannot make it to the official bus we can recommend taxi transfers where you can share the cost, contact us and we will assist.

Marco Canha
Marco Canha is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, graduated under the legendary Ricardo Vieira at the Fightzone academy (Checkmat headquarters in Rio de Janeiro). Born in the “Mecca” of jiu-jitsu, Marco Canha made a name for himself as one of the hottest new prospects to come out of the Checkmat Academy, he has since moved to Europe, where he opened up his own affiliate of Fightzone in London (check Fightzone London website).
Kevin Chan
Professor Kevin Chan, a 4th-degree black belt, is one of Europe’s highest-ranking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, with a rich lineage of training under Mauricio Gomes and Roger Gracie. As the founder of Kamon BJJ (kamonbjj.com), Portsmouth’s longest-standing BJJ academy, Kevin has built a school focused on constant growth and discovery. In January 2008, he became one of the first black belts in the UK, an honor awarded by the legendary Mauricio Gomes, father of world champion Roger Gracie. Kevin’s dedication to the art and his pursuit of knowledge continue to shape his contributions to the BJJ community. Kevin also trains at grapplersden.com Belham South London.
Alex Pereira
Since 2015, Alex has served as the founder and head coach of Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Peniche in Portugal, offering a vast reservoir of expertise to his students. Having received training from esteemed mentors such as Erik Paulson, Eddie Bravo, Mendes Bros, André Galvão, and Marcos Flexa during his time overseas, Alex has acquired invaluable knowledge. Despite primarily competing at colored belts, Alex has clinched national championship titles in judo and BJJ, showcasing remarkable achievements in international competitions.
Valmyr Neto
Valmyr Neto, born in Belem, Brazil, in 1983, began his martial arts journey with Judo before transitioning to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Inspired by Royce Gracie’s UFC victories, Neto sought training and earned his yellow and blue belts under Marcus Norat. He continued his BJJ training with Walter “Broca,” receiving his black belt in 2006. In 2008, Neto moved to England to coach BJJ and has since become a prominent figure in the English grappling scene, leading the DFC academy in Gravesend and contributing to the growth of the sport in Europe.
Rapha Amorim
Raphaella Amorim is a prominent figure in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community, known for her engaging digital content and expertise in the sport. A skilled BJJ black belt, Rapha operates a popular YouTube channel with over 41K subscribers, where she offers in-depth analysis of BJJ positions, live commentary on matches, and insights from her travels to tournaments and training camps worldwide. Her Instagram presence is equally impressive, boasting a following of 76K dedicated fans.
Rapha will be contributing digital content to the upcoming Jiutopia camp, providing valuable insights and analysis for attendees.

How do I get to the Jiutopia Camp?
Jiutopia Camp 2025 will take place from June 18th to 24th at Armenistis Camping & Bungalows in the area of Sithonia in Halkidiki. However you choose to travel to Armenistis (by air or by road), access is extremely easy. The campsite is 135 kilometres from the city of Thessaloniki. If you are flying into Greece, you will need to book a flight to "Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia". The organizer of this camp has provided transportation from the Airport to the location of the camp and back. Check the transportation schedule here in the FAQ section.

I am under 18, can I still attend this camp?
Yes, participants under 18 can attend the camp if allowed by parents.
Is the insurance included with my ticket to Jiutopia Summer Edition?
No, insurance is not included and we highly recommend you get travel insurance to protect your vacation investment!
Is there any food included for Jiutopia Summer Edition?
No, there is no food included, however, you can enjoy a diverse selection of dining options, with access to a restaurant and a supermarket within the camp, ensuring that everyone can savor local cuisine or find familiar comforts during their stay.

What is the Airport Transportation schedule?
On the first day, the 18th of June, 2025, transportation will be available from the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki at 11:00 AM and from Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia at 12:00 PM, directly to the camp. For your departure, on the last day, June 24, 2025, transportation will be leaving from the camp at 11:00 AM directly to Thessaloniki Airport, and for those who want a ride to the city, the last stop will be the city centre.
