NEWBREED, an esteemed American organization, has carved its presence in the combat sports industry with unwavering dedication since its inception in 2006. A pivotal moment in the organization’s history arrived in 2012, when the NEWBREED Jiu Jitsu Federation (NJJF) was established. This marked a significant turning point, as the NJJF embarked on a mission to foster and promote the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu within the United States and beyond. On the memorable 28th of April 2012, the NJJF hosted its inaugural event in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida, initiating its status as a leading authority in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. This event not only showcased the incredible talent and passion of the athletes but also signaled the beginning of a new era in the sport, as NJJF sought to expand its influence and share the art of Jiu-Jitsu with a global audience. Fast forward to the year 2022, a remarkable milestone was reached – it was the NJJF’s 10th anniversary, a momentous celebration that signified an entire decade of dedication to the art of Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling. Over the course of those ten years, NJJF had played an integral role in shaping the landscape of Jiu-Jitsu in the United States, providing a platform for both seasoned practitioners and budding talents to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and, most importantly, build a community bonded by their shared love for the sport.
