Rio Grappling Club is an academy dedicated to teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our mission is to provide a safe and friendly environment where anyone can train and learn martial arts. We aim to improve fitness in a relaxed and enjoyable way, fostering concentration, self-confidence, and perseverance. We cater to both recreational and competitive enthusiasts, striving to become one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA academies without an excessive pursuit of perfection.
Founded in 2003 by three-time BJJ world champion Roberto Atalla, who trained under the renowned Gracie family in Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grappling Club has grown to over 70 schools across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
In Poland, our network is expanding, with schools in about 15 cities. Our motto, "BJJ Without Borders," reflects our belief that martial arts can be practiced by people from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or residence. However, BJJ requires courage and persistence, and many people drop out in their first year. We believe in being honest with our students about the challenges they will face.
Rio Grappling Club is a global sports organization dedicated solely to the development of martial arts, free from involvement in religion or politics. We believe martial arts unite people and promote equality.
