Ray Price
Ray Price is a highly respected third-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Matt Thornton of Straight Blast Gym (SBG). With over 20 years of training and coaching experience in BJJ, Ray has made significant contributions to the martial arts community. He is also the president of ISR Matrix, an organization dedicated to integrated self-defense and tactical training.
Ray's journey in martial arts began over two decades ago, and his dedication and expertise have earned him a prominent position within the SBG network. He is known for his effective teaching style and deep understanding of BJJ, making him a sought-after instructor for seminars and private lessons.
In addition to his accomplishments in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ray has an extensive background in law enforcement, having served for 25 years before retiring. His roles included corrections, patrol, training division, and supervision/administration. Ray has also instructed in multiple high-liability disciplines, including firearms, defensive tactics, and emergency vehicle operations, as well as various law enforcement classes.
Ray Price's comprehensive expertise in both martial arts and law enforcement training makes him an invaluable asset to the BJJ community. His seminars are known for their depth, practical application, and focus on enhancing the skills of practitioners at all levels.
