Owen Livesey
Owen Livesey is a distinguished professional Judoka and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt, renowned for his achievements at both national and international levels. He has made a significant mark in the fighting community with an impressive list of accomplishments. Owen clinched gold at the 2014 European Cup in Uster, Switzerland, and secured a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. His competitive prowess continued to shine in 2017, when he won a silver medal at the European Open in Minsk, Belarus.
Owen's extensive competition record includes being a six-time British Judo Champion and a Commonwealth Games Judo Champion. He has also excelled in grappling, becoming a CACC (Catch-As-Catch-Can) World Champion and an ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) European Trials Silver Medalist. As an ADCC World Veteran and a Polaris signed grappler, Owen has proven his skill and versatility across multiple combat sports disciplines.
Currently, Owen serves as the head coach and owner of Carlson Gracie Hull, where he brings his world-class expertise to help students on their Jiu-Jitsu journey.
