Team Passos Women's BJJ Training Camp
Join us for the next Women's BJJ Training Camp, led by Professor Megan at Team Passos HQ in Sterling, VA.
This training camp welcomes all female students, regardless of affiliation or experience level, including those new to Jiu-Jitsu. It's an excellent opportunity to share the event and invite friends. The camp aims to build connections among women who share an interest in Jiu-Jitsu, providing a space to train and develop skills together.
Professor Megan, a black belt under Professor Tony Passos, began her Jiu-Jitsu journey in November 2012 while living in China. After moving back to the U.S., she trained at The Winchester Jiu-Jitsu Academy and joined Team Passos HQ in 2018. Megan brings extensive knowledge and experience to her coaching, focusing on competition and building a strong women's presence in Jiu-Jitsu. She holds an associate degree as a physical therapy assistant and a bachelor's degree in English, with a professional background in healthcare and publishing.

Megan Wood
Professor Megan is a black belt under Professor Tony Passos. She started her Jiu-Jitsu journey in November 2012 while living abroad in China. After moving home to the U.S. she began training at an affiliate gym, The Winchester Jiu-Jitsu Academy, which led her to join Team Passos HQ in 2018.
Professor Megan brings a diverse array of knowledge and experience to the mats and she enjoys the challenge of competition but is most driven by her passion to share Jiu-Jitsu through coaching. She is dedicated to building women’s presence on the mat and leads women’s training events at Team Passos. She also holds an associate degree in physical therapy assistant and a bachelor's degree in English with a career in healthcare after shifting from the publishing industry.
