Ffion Eira Davies is a Welsh Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt and one of the most accomplished female grapplers of her generation. Born in Wales, Davies began her martial arts journey with judo, representing the Wales National Team in her junior years.
In 2013, Davies discovered BJJ through MMA training and quickly fell in love with the sport. She began her BJJ journey under Chris Rees, who awarded her blue belt. Later, she joined Darragh O'Conaill's East Coast BJJ academy, where she continued her progression through the ranks.Davies' competitive achievements are exceptional:
On November 27, 2018, Davies was promoted to black belt by Darragh O'Conaill in Dublin, Ireland, where she had relocated to train full-time.
Known for her aggressive style and submission-oriented approach, Davies has a particular affinity for the armbar. Her grappling record is impressive, with 79 wins, 48 of which came by submission.
